In the Quran, Allah makes a powerful promise: “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” (Quran 40:60). This is a guarantee. So, the response is certain—but the how and when are up to His infinite wisdom.

1. The Du’a of the Oppressed
This is perhaps the most powerful prayer in the world. When someone is treated unfairly and has no one else to turn to, they raise their hands to Allah.
Why it’s answered: The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Fear the du’a of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.” Imagine a prayer that shoots straight to the heavens, without any obstacle. That is the prayer of someone who has been wronged. Allah’s justice demands that He responds, whether by helping them directly or punishing the oppressor in this life or the next.
When to make this du’a: If you are suffering from any injustice, big or small. Your Lord is always listening.
2. The Parent’s Du’a for Their Child
A mother’s or father’s prayer for their child holds immense weight in the eyes of Allah.
Why it’s answered: The love of a parent is pure and selfless. Their heartfelt wish for their child’s protection, guidance, and success is a prayer that Allah loves to answer. The Prophet ﷺ taught us that three prayers are never rejected, and among them is a parent’s prayer for their child.
When to make this du’a: Every single day. Pray for your child’s faith, their health, their safety, and their happiness in this life and the next. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give them.
3. The Traveler’s Du’a
This one is so simple, yet we often overlook it. The Prophet ﷺ said that the du’a of a traveler is accepted.
Why it’s answered: When you are traveling, you are in a state of humility. You’ve left your comfortable home, your routine, and your safety. You are depending entirely on Allah for a safe journey. This state of need and vulnerability is exactly what Allah loves. It doesn’t have to be a long trip—even a short journey to the next town counts!
When to make this du’a: Next time you get in your car, on a bus, or on a plane, take a moment to ask Allah for anything your heart desires. Ask for safety, for success in a project, for healing for a loved one. In that state of travel, your prayer has a special status and is likely to be accepted.
4. The Du’a Just Before Breaking Your Fast (in Ramadan or otherwise)
There is a golden moment when your fast is about to end. The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are three whose du’a is not rejected:… the fasting person when they break their fast.”
Why it’s answered: After a long day of obeying Allah by avoiding food, drink, and other desires, you are in a state of purity and obedience. You have weakened your body to strengthen your soul. At that moment of breaking your fast, you are fulfilling Allah’s command and are especially close to Him. It is a moment of supreme acceptance.
When to make this du’a: Throughout the year, but especially during Ramadan. In the last few minutes of your fast, have your most important wishes ready. Ask Allah from the depths of your heart.
5. The Du’a in the Last Third of the Night
Allah descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of the night and asks: “Who is calling upon Me, that I may answer him? Who is asking from Me, that I may give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?”
Why it’s answered: This is a special time when Allah’s mercy is at its peak. To wake up from your sleep, leave your warm bed, and stand in prayer purely for His sake shows incredible sincerity. That effort does not go unnoticed.
When to make this du’a: Wake up for Tahajjud or Fajr prayer a little earlier. In the quiet, darkness of the night, talk to Allah like a friend. It is a conversation you will never forget.
Remember: The Secret Ingredient
These five moments are like prime times for acceptance. But the real secret ingredient is certainty. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Call upon Allah while being certain of being answered.”
Don’t just say the words. Believe with your entire heart that Allah hears you, loves you, and will answer you in the best way possible—even if you can’t see it right away.

کیوں قبول ہوتی ہے؟
ماں باپ کی محبت بہت پاک ہوتی ہے۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تین لوگوں کی دعا رد نہیں ہوتی، ان میں سے ایک ماں باپ کی اپنے بچے کے لیے دعا ہے۔
کب مانگیں؟
روزانہ اپنے بچوں کے لیے دعا کریں۔ یہ آپ کی سب سے بڑی دی ہوئی دولت ہوگی۔
مسافر کی دعا
یہ دعا بہت آسان ہے مگر ہم اسے بھول جاتے ہیں۔
کیوں قبول ہوتی ہے؟
سفر میں انسان اللہ پر زیادہ بھروسہ کرتا ہے۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: “مسافر کی دعا قبول ہوتی ہے”
چھوٹا سفر ہو یا بڑا، دونوں ہی شمار ہوتے ہیں۔
کب مانگیں؟
گاڑی، بس یا train میں سفر کرتے وقت اللہ سے اپنی کوئی بھی حاجت مانگیں۔
. روزہ کھولتے وقت کی دعا
روزہ رکھنے کے بعد افطار کے وقت اللہ خاص طور پر دعا سنتا ہے۔
کیوں قبول ہوتی ہے؟
نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: “روزہ دار کی دعا افطار کے وقت قبول ہوتی ہے”
اس وقت انسان اللہ کے قریب ہوتا ہے۔
کب مانگیں؟
روزہ کھولنے سے پہلے والے 2-3 منٹوں میں اپنی ہر حاجت مانگیں۔
آخری رات کے پچھلے پہر کی دعا
رات کے آخری حصے میں اللہ آسمانِ دنیا پر آتا ہے اور پوچھتا ہے: “کون ہے جو مجھ سے مانگے؟ میں اسے دوں گا”
کیوں قبول ہوتی ہے؟
اس وقت اللہ کی رحمت سب سے زیادہ ہوتی ہے۔ جو شخص نیند چھوڑ کر اللہ کو یاد کرے، اللہ اسے ضرور دے گا۔
کب مانگیں؟
فجر کی نماز سے پہلے اٹھ کر تہجد پڑھیں اور اللہ سے دعا کریں۔
سب سے اہم بات
ان تمام دعاؤں کی قبولیت کی کنجی یقین ہے۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: “اللہ سے ایسے مانگو جیسے یقین ہو کہ اللہ دے گا”
اللہ سے مانگتے وقت پورے یقین کے ساتھ مانگیں۔ چاہے جواب فوراً نہ ملے، اللہ بہترین وقت پر ضرور دے گا۔
